Robert W. Griffith, 60, passed away July 26, 2012. He was a member of the Indiana State & Indianapolis City Bowling Hall of Fames. Winner of the Indiana State Bowling Tournament six times, & he had two Indianapolis City Tournament titles. Robert also had 10 sanction 300s & two 800 series. Along with his Father, he also was a member of the Murat Shrine, which they were active members of the Shrine bowling team for many years. He was born July 2, 1952 & a graduate of Lawrence High School class of 1970. Robert attended Indiana University & Cape Cod University.

Robert was the owner of Griffith Real Estate for 32 years. He also coached the Indy Angels softball team for six years.

He is survived by his daughter, Ashley E. Griffith and preceded in death by parents, Barbara L. Griffith & George C. Griffith, & brother, George W. Griffith.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at Harry W. Moore Funeral Care. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Burial Oaklawn Memorial Gardens

    So very sorry to hear of Bob’s passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family. We always enjoyed Bob’s wit and talent and we have fond memories of sharing time with him whether it was in a bowling center or another location. He will be missed.
